What we collect, and why.

This page covers this website and the pilot request form on it. "Self," "we," and "us" refer to the team building Self. This policy does not yet cover the Self product itself — that gets its own agreement once a pilot begins.

Information you give us

When you submit the pilot request form, we collect:

• Work email — required, to respond to your request.
• Company name — required, so we can tell if there's a fit.
• Role — optional, if you tell us.
• What you'd pilot — optional, a free-text description you write.

That's the entire form. We don't ask for anything else on this site, and there's nowhere else on the site that collects personal information.

Information collected automatically

When the form is submitted, our server also records the page you submitted it from (just the URL path, not your browsing history) and a timestamp.

Your IP address is used for a few minutes to prevent spam — capping how many submissions one IP can send in a short window — and then discarded. It is never written to the database and never stored alongside your submission.

We don't use cookies, and we don't run any analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

To respond to your pilot request, evaluate whether there's a fit, and follow up about Self. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't send marketing email beyond that conversation.

Who sees it

Your submission is stored in a database (Supabase, our hosting provider) that only our team can access — it is locked down so that no public or client-side key can read, write, or list any row. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and we don't pass it to any third party except the infrastructure providers who host this site and its database (currently Vercel and Supabase), who process it only on our behalf.

This page's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Loading them sends your browser's request (including your IP address) to Google's servers, the same as any embedded third-party font or image would.

How long we keep it

We keep pilot request records while we're actively considering or running a pilot with you, and for a reasonable period after in case you follow up. If you ask us to delete it, we will, unless we're required to keep a record for a legal reason.

Your rights

You can ask us what we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email useself.privacy@gmail.com and we'll handle it directly. If you're in the EU, UK, or a state with its own privacy law (like California), you have those rights regardless of what this page says — this is just how to reach us to exercise them.

Children

This site is a B2B product page. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't quietly widen what we collect or how we use it without saying so here.
